This web site is setup to enable a person to search for lake-front property along Lake Rabun, Lake Burton, Lake Seed, Lake Hartwell, and Lake Chatuge, in and aroung Rabun County Georgia, in the northeastern mountains of the State. From this site, one can perform a property search of all the lake front property listed in the multiple listing service that covers the Lake regions of Rabun County in the State of Georgia, most of which have wonderful mountain and valley views. The lakes that can be found in and around Rabun County, are Lake Rabun, Lake Burton, Lake Seed, Lake Hartwell and Lake Chatuge. Links are provided from this site, to search for property on all three of these lakes. One can search for all types of the lake front property that is for sale in and around Rabun County GA, some of which is on the side of mountains, most with homes and a few with raw land. Raw land in the form of large tracts, as well as smaller lots can sometimes be found. Homes, cabins, and great, getaway, permanent or second homes, as well as good real estate investments can be found. Rabun County is located in the northeastern corner of Georgia. Local activities include hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, rafting, golf, Appalachian Trail, parks, camping, and trout fishing. The cities in Rabun County are Tallulah Falls GA, Lakemont GA, Tiger GA, Clayton GA, Mountain City Georgia, Dillard Georgia, Sky Valley Georgia, and the Georgia portion of Tate City Georgia. The Chattahoochee river runs along the border between Georgia and South Carolina, and is a good place to fish, raft, or just play. The Tallulah River runs diagonally through the County, and is a great place to trout fish. This county is also a resort community, with two private golf courses and a city golf course which includes a driving range. The two private golf courses are the Waterfall Country Club, and the Kingwood Golf Club and Resort. Lake Hartwell runs along the northern most border between Georgia and South Carolina.Lake Chaguge is located in Hiawassee Georgia, just to the West of Rabun County.
